Ok so I LOVE www.Freepeople.com. It fits me perfectly!!! I just can't afford anything they have..haha. But I though I would show some of the items I have obsessed over from them...

Oh and I will be making stuff like this for my Etsy shop when I get my sewing machine back! yay! I'm so excited!

These are amazing! And I have pretty much figured out how to make them..mwahaha!
I have a nack for seeing stuff I want at shops that I can't afford and studying it until I figure out how it's made. Then I go home and make it. Well not IT exactly..but similar. People that work in the stores probably think I'm crazy sitting there staring at the same item for 15 mintues. lol Oh well. Handmade stuff is better anyway. :)

Here are some recent purchases I've made on Amazon.com. I always get the "used" books b/c they are so cheap! And really they aren't barely used..you can't even tell. It's more tree friendly than buying new books at Barnes and Noble. :)

This is a really great idea for recycling old shirts instead of throwing them out.

This one was only .45...166 pages...I told you they were cheap!

I heard this book was a really great learning tool for making skirts without patterns or experience!

I saw this book in Barnes and Noble but it was $25 and I got it for $10 on Amazon.

I feel good when I buy used..I feel like I'm making a difference.

If you don't think small things make a difference, try going to bed with a mosquito in the room.

Pudden Pop

So my lil Pudden Pop came home on Thursday. He had really bad runny eyes and was sneezing, come to find out, he had a upper respiratory infection! The stupid people at the shelter didn't tell me and tried to lie to me about what it was, jerks. So I took him to the vet today and he will be all better in 7 days! yay! Here's some eye candy for ya:

Poor lil guys eyes were all runny and infected

He fell right to sleep on the way home

He has a lil heart on his head!

He's so glad I saved him from that mean ol` shelter that he's crying! lol

So cute!

He went to sleep all afternoon after his vet visit.

Sewing Machine

I can't wait to go back to Fairhope to get my sewing machine. I was going to buy one today at Target but I decided not to waste money on something I already had. I would be more convinence to get one so I can have it here but I can wait a few more months. Besides, I have fabric, thread, etc. in Fairhope so it would be stupid to buy all that over again b/c I'm impatient. :P This is my sewing Machine:

I have so many projects that I want to do with sewing but I know when I actually get my sewing machine I won't use it that often. I didn't before when I had it. I'm really trying to get my Etsy shop some exposure so I can sell more stuff. I only have had one sale. I don't really understand it b/c I get so many compliments on my art and jewelry but no one wants to buy. I hope it picks up soon...
